Day 18, 19, 20 – Legs, OMG SORE!!, Chest & Back
Monday was legs and back. That’s a tough workout for sure. I was sore sore on Tuesday that I didn’t think I could handle the next workout so I rested for another day. Today it wasn’t so bad so I was back at it. I honestly can’t remember another workout routine that had me so sore for so many workouts. Usually, I adapt pretty well, but I’m guessing it’s the whole muscle confusion thing.
Chest & back was good. I’m still increasing reps and weight across the board. My form is also better throughout which is contributing to a steadily better workout as well. Tonight I have to do my MS shot for the week. I’m still planning to do plyo tomorrow, but it will ultimately depend on how I feel after the shot.
I’m not real happy with the number of rest days I’ve added to the program. I’m considering moving the workouts to the mornings so I’m not trying to workout after being so wiped from a day at work. That will also help with the running if I can convince myself to train for the marathon again.
